Orlevis Martin fled Cuba in the 1990s carrying little more than a piece of history — official Cuban government documents from the 1940s formally establishing his grandfather's cigar factory, Leidi, which at its peak employed over 100 torcedores in the Cuban countryside.
In 2026, Martin brought Leidi back to life through a partnership with a Nicaraguan factory, honoring the brand's legacy with a mild-to-medium blend offered in Robusto and Toro vitolas. A tribute decades in the making.
