Last available around 2011, this is a vintage yet new Xikar Mayan X polished cloisonne cutter. Cloisonne ("cloy-suh-nay") is an ancient technique for decorating metalwork objects with colored material held in place or separated by metal strips or wire. About 10 years ago, Xikar (when it was operated by the founders) released this unique Xi3 model which is a heavy weight metallic piece. There was an offer where this cutter was part of a gift set which included a tabletop cloisonne torch lighter. This piece is from our vault and has now been made available.
