Wrapper: Ecuador Sumatra
This is the first batch of Ozgener Bosphorus which were crafted by Tabacalera Pichardo (owned by Ace Prime, now Luciano Cigars) in Nicaragua and had an Ecuador Sumatra wrapper. The split between Luciano and Crowned Heads in 2022 caused the team at Ozgener to change the blend and factory (even country of origin), so this cigar is not what is currently offered in the marketplace.
This inaugural batch has a woody forward and somewhat umami profile (nutty, meaty). Medium strength.
